Vacation in San Diego

Vacation got off to a great start with a visit to the
playground just steps from our condos.

Feeding the Ocean

Playtime at the beach. Abi has always been
a little sand crab, but Leah on the other hand preferred
to sit in a lap, chair or on a beach towel.

Birthday Suprise!

Mom came out to be with me to celebrate a new
decade. One of these days we went to Disneyland
where Mom had the most fun of her life! We
got her on some big kid rides and might not ever do
them again but it was fun! We got her on the
Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, and Splash Mountain.
We had a great and very full day, hooray for Mom for keeping
up! Im so glad you were there Mom. It was really special.

We met up with the Stines who were also vacationing
the same week. Abi, Cameron, and Mia had a blast
at the beach. Mom did a great job playing and keeping
Leah entertained.

Sand Angels

After playing at the beach we had ice cream and
went to the drive in to see Ice Age 2.

Visit to the USS Midway

Before we took Mom to the airport we
stopped at the USS Midway to look at
old planes and tour the air craft carrier. We
had some lunch at Seaport Village and Mom and
Abi rode the carousel.

Happy Birthday America!

We spent the 4th playing on the beach. Leah
began to get more comfortable with the sand.

Sea World

The day got off to a scary start. After some frightening
pictures with the walrus and penguin a few of us found
ourselves stuck on the Atlantis Adventure ride. But the day
got better as we had great weather and a lot of fun.

Leah watching the Shamu show. It was really neat to
watch one of God's amazing creations performing like this.
At the end of the day we had some really tired little girls, it was
a nice quiet ride home.

More Beah Time!

Leah's still not so sure about the sand but will
put her foot in her mouth.
Lillian falling asleep while playing in the sand and
Granddad getting some help building his sand castle.
Nice castle Granddad!
