Abi's Birthday Trip to Disneyland

We took Abi and Leah to Disneyland for Abi's 3rd birthday!
Here we are at the beginning of day one, all bright eyed and
ready to go. Little did we know how warm it would be this day.
We got to see Tinkerbell, which totally made Abi's day. She was SUPER
excited to see her. She was dancing around and smiling from ear
to ear at the sight of her. It was pretty darn cute. Later in the
day we stopped for some "hiice" cream, as Abi calls it,
and Leah was lovin' every bite!

We went into Toontown to play and ride on the rollercoaster
and who comes out to greet us, Pluto! Abi was in the perfect spot,
he came out right next to her. As always it was picture worthy.
After playing a little more we decided to go back to the hotel for
a swim break, thus the bare Leah. She enjoys being in the nude.

Happy Birthday Abi!

Here is Leah trying to wake Abi up on the morning of her birthday.
As you can see she was not so successful. So we told Abi she had a
present waiting for her. That did the trick.

We gave her a "Cinderelda" dress for her big day and
let her wear it to the park. We were able to get into the park
an hour early this day because the hotel where we stayed
was a Disney hotel. A lot of the characters were out but we
only stopped at Minnie so we could get on the Nemo ride. When
she saw Donald she wanted to show him her dress
but chose to go to Nemo instead, it was pretty cute.

Lunch With the Princesses

We went to California Adventure to have lunch with the
princesses. Abi was beside herself when she saw all of them.
Each one stopped at our table to say hi and take a picture.
I don't know why she is leaning away from Ariel, she did this
a few other times. Maybe it is her way of doing a pose, its cute anyway.

Dancing Abi

Abi got her groove on while
waiting for the parade to come.

Waiting for the Parade

The parade was right up Abi's alley. It had a lot of
dancing and the kids were invited to go onto the street to dance
with the parade crew. Abi felt right at home with it and loved it.
At the end of the parade they spray out confetti and abi just had to
have some. So she picked it up and wore it around her neck....
the whole rest of the night. :)

The next morning we had breakfast with some characters.
Lilo and Stitch, Pluto, Daisy, and Goofy were all part of the crowd.
Stitch in particular LOVED Leah. He stopped by our table more
than once.

They had games and dancing during the breakfast,
guess which part Abi enjoyed? Abi and Leah posed for a pic in
front of Surfin' Goofy in the hotel lobby. The hotel was really kid
friendly. There was this little room that had old Disney cartoons
playing on it as well as an arcade. They had a pool and slide too and
believe it or not Abi went down the slide!! We were shocked!
She loved it,she did not want to leave it. Shivering and all she was
determined to keep going down the slide. We eventually got her off
and went back to the park for a couple more hours.

Our Last Day

We rode on a couple more rides the last morning
and on the way out ran into Buzz, she was adamant about
seeing him, and Alice. Again leaning away from
Alice, funny kid. This was such a fun trip because she was
able to tell us which rides she wanted to ride. It was truly a
trip for her. Can't wait to do it again with Leah.

Happy Easter!
