Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here are some random pics.
Caleb is 2 months and is beginning to smile and
what a cute smile it is!
Abi and Leah got princess nails for Christmas
which they both just love!
Abi also shot her very first BB gun. Not just any gun
but an official Red Rider BB gun. It's not hers but her
cousin Riley's. She shot it once and that was it.
We picked Auntie Jen up at the airport when she came
to work/visit.
The girls over love their little brother, always wanting
to hold him and kiss him and touch his face. Which really
is okay because its not always going to be like that.
With the beginning of 2011 both Abi and Leah
have new beds! Abi moved to the top bunk and Leah is now
on the bottom bunk!! They love it! They like to play in Abi's
bed during the day and are still really excited at night so
it takes about an hour before they fall asleep.

New Years eve we spent with the family. We ate some
yummy food and played the Xbox Kinect, which was
really cool! Caleb and Annaliese are cousins of cousins and
are only 4 days apart! He's such a chunk! We celebrated the
new year a bit early, about 10ish, with some fireworks and
sparklers, yay! We pulled safely into our driveway at11:55 pm
and put some tired kiddos to bed. Happy New Year!

Thanks Grammy and Grandad for the easel! We love it!
Christmas with Grammy, Grandad and family.

Thanks Grams and Gramps! We love the bikes!

Happiest!

Happier!
We did not have the Walmart commercial happiness
Christmas morning. While trying to have the cameras ready
to catch the Christmas excitement we told the girls to wait
at the end of the hall-for just a half second-while we get set in
place and then they could come running down the hall the see all
the presents under the tree and the two HUGE bike bags there
waiting for them.
Instead we got, Leah-disobeyed and Abi-obeyed. So Abi
trying to stop Leah from going down the hall pulls
on her arm thus making Leah upset and resulted in both of them
coming down the hall screaming at each other.
Merry Christmas!
Christmas Eve service. Leah 2.5 Abi 4.5
Caleb almost 2 months

A few days before Christmas we had our cousins up to the
house to make cookies! The girls had a blast using the cookie
cutters and then decorating them and eating some of them.
Marcus and Caleb just sat and laid around watching all
the fun happening around them.

Yes, those are rats! Ewe! Pet rats, not ours! Leah
below is being a good mommy to her baby and
feeding it. Monkey see monkey do right? Lately, Abi has
been very interested in cooking and baking, so we had
some bonding time in the kitchen and made some
cookies and a cake for Daddy's work Christmas party.
Best part for her-eating the dough.
Best part for mommy-baking with Abi!

The girls have discovered how fun the foot bath can be,
sure makes a lot of bubbles.
Smiles!

Abi, Lillian and Morgan's Christmas dance recital.
Abi was super excited that she was able to wear some
of Mommy's make-up for the recital.
Auntie Jen was in town too for work so we got to visit
with her and she was able to meet Caleb for the first time!
She also helped us decorate for Christmas, yay! While
decorating we enjoyed hot chocolate and White Christmas
w/ Bing Crosby and Danny Kay!
The girls were getting over being sick that week
and sent their sweet Auntie Jen home with an
extra special gift. A week at home sick in bed. ;-)
Love you Auntie Jen!

Abi's preschool went on a field trip to a farm.

This is the girls gingerbread house they assembled
that Sarge (our dog) enjoyed while we were out of
the house. Grrr.....
Leah still talks about it.
Sisters!

They LOVE the bunny slippers Grams!
Grams and Gramps come to meet new baby Caleb.
We had lots of fun while they were here. Abi enjoyed her time
in the kitchen with "boy" Grams helping him make meals
and taking special trips with "girls" Grams. We went hiking
a couple of times and spent lots of time together.
We miss them and hope they come again soon.
